The continent in miniature

The denomination of “continent in miniature” that is given to the cosmopolitan island of Gran Canaria is due to the landscape contrasts of its 1560 km² of surface. This island is full of culture and diversity, something that can be seen in the endless number of traditional rural hamlets, small villages of white houses and in the most emblematic buildings of the historic centers of their cities that, together, make up an excellent example of Canarian identity .

But not everything is tradition in Gran Canaria since a few kilometers from the tranquility of the interior of the island we find the exciting social and cultural life of the largest city in the Canary Islands: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. With the comfort, the infrastructures, the leisure offer and the services of the best European cities, the capital of the island is postulated as an ideal enclave for the reception of all kinds of events.
